Download local version of keynote collaboration

Choose from over Apple-designed shapes, galleries, math equations, and charts. Take a photo or scan a document with your iPhone, and Continuity Camera can send it straight to Keynote on your Mac. Learn about everything you can do in Keynote. Appear in a window, right on your slides, with a picture-in-picture display during remote presentations. Or include a live feed of your iPhone or iPad screen to show off apps.

For slideshows with multiple presenters, you can now take turns controlling a single deck — from anywhere — on Mac, iPad, and iPhone. Embed a video from YouTube or Vimeo, then play them right in your presentations, without the need to download or open the video in a media player. Play a slideshow in its own window so you can access other apps while you present. You can view your presenter notes, upcoming slides, and navigation in a separate window as well.

With outline view for iPhone and iPad, quickly jot down your thoughts, restructure ideas, and move concepts from slide to slide. Then switch to slide view and start designing. Take notes, edit a presentation, or annotate text quickly. With Keynote, presenting remotely can be just as seamless as presenting in person. Add a live video feed of yourself to any slide for a picture-in-picture experience. Or when presenting on your Mac, include a live feed of your iPhone or iPad screen to walk through your apps.

You can even play a slideshow in its own window, so you can simultaneously access your notes and other apps. If you purchased it on the App Store then re-download it from there. You need to be running Snow Leopard. Just go into the updates tap in the App Store then you can download Yosemite and get the latest version on keynote. I'm wary of upgrading to Yosemite as my MBA is a version so there may be some compatibility issues. I don't want to lose any data and cause any major crashes to the system.

Where else can I buy the older versions of Keynote? Apple does support it but always back up data. Or, you can invite specific people who must be signed in with their Apple ID to open the presentation.

Editing permission: You can choose whether others can make changes to the presentation or only view it. You can also choose whether participants can invite others to collaborate on the presentation. If you are successful in starting a collaboration, the Collaborate button will go green. If you click on it, you can see who you are collaborating with and who is online working on a document. The document can be worked on in real time with multiple users. Each user will see the changes in real time in their Keynote app.

You can be in the same slide at the same time as well. You can also follow edits from another user by a color indicator on the section they are working on. The new collaboration features of Keynote is a great way to get prepared for meeting presentations, working as a team even when team members are in different locations.

The real-time edits is a valuable tool when working on a presentation.
