Can any race use Burdinadin armor? I had a PC started as a minor noble and he managed to buy the best Burdinadin armor since the start, should it be so cheap? Everyone else is wearing leather and chain mail and he already has the equivalent of power armor from Fallout Is there gonna be sourcebooks with more gear, customisation,talents, schools and NPC sheets?

SoS is a RoS successor? If anyone has played Blade of the Iron Throne, how does this hold up against that? I have seen nothing here or on their Website to indicate if they have a delivery date.

I have not found in the book, but is there any action that allows a ranged attack to be targeted at a target area? I understand that in the heat of combat this is more difficult, but in a situation of calm, with a sneak attack, without the target knowing the intention is much more plausible.

I know this is a late reply, but I know of two cases in the system where you can choose a target area for missile attacks. The first one is when shooting within a Bout using the Melee Shoot maneuver. In that case, you choose target zones just as with melee attacks. The other case is if you roll a 1 on the Missile Target Zones table, which results in a critical hit.

This allows you to choose where you hit the target, and the AV of the target counts as halved against that attack. But that is as close as the system gets, as far as I know. Does that mean in a one on one fight, the person with lower ADR can not do any Action at all if the person with higher ADR keep using Engage because that will make the person with lower ADR to get in the bout and cannot use any Action at all Including moving away.

That means, "6 yards" is more like "maximum capped 6 yards" of movement. Charge requires a straight line for "maximum capped 12 yards". But hey, there's no stopping you from using additional movement as part of the action if you feel this movement allowance is too restrictive, but this means it's easy to execute melee actions with movement.

Does moving only without an Action cost stamina, no stamina, or uses less stamina? It's left up to GM to tweak accordingly unfortunately because these were seperate rules that weren't integrated together cohesively. For me, i only consider restoration of stamina to occur, if you don't move at all, or at a lower rate if they only move half of their MOB. A distance of two yards is considered within "engage touch distance" regardless of weapon length.

For particularly long weapons as you said, it's up to you to increase it to three yards or so Use some imagination with regards to relative comparison i guess.. If the weapon is thrown a distance away beyond that, then you can only recover it within the bout by ticking down 2 yards distance per bout exchange while back-pedaling with defensive manuevers towards the weapon if possible or not performing any bout manuevers if the enemy is in the way of the weapon. If you wish to perform a bout manuever while working towards recovering your weapon in any location, tick down by 1 yard each time, but if the enemy is in the way of the weapon, then ticking down only occurs if the enemy didn't perform any actions against you for that bout exchange.

So, it's either MOB or maximum capped 6 yards of it. Normally, for a character that initiated Disengage unlike Flee , they can attempt to re-engage into a different bout within MOB max 6 yards cap distance only. But since they already fought for the current phase, they cannot fight again for the current phase but wait for the next. However, for Disengage, what I do is flag the Disengaging character whomever initiated it with a Disengage token that lasts only for that next 1 phase where he has priority to always act first within in the next phase compared to the other characters that were previously in the bout.

Disengage is useful in specific case where you need to rush to a nearby friend who needs urgent help in his own bout. A character that Disengage from the bout can therefore hopefully join a nearby existing bout in the next phase, allowing them the flexibility of switching between bouts across phases without having to Flee or Kill their opponents.
